Thanks everyone. I am not so worried about the respray or the splitter anymore but the noise I can hear while driving from what seems to be under the car, I am sure the tire shread knocked something when it went under

This really sucks but as long as you are ok, everything else can be fixed.

That's why I always tell people to never drive behind those trucks. This happen to a buddy of mine when he was driving his car to the track, 18 wheeler blew a tire and it went straight to the face of his 911 - smashed the whole thing.

Sorry to see this happened, Paul.

If it makes you feel any better, at least you still have your M5 and it can be repaired. Mine's gone for good (though not from an accident).

Total bummer but I do see you had circumstances that made it difficult for you to keep the car. I wish you the best Tim and if I happen to be in the area I will still meet up with someone who drives a Genesis

Sorry to see that but like everyone has been saying, it could have been a lot worse. To this day I don't ride a motorcycle because 20 years ago I witnessed a dump truck loose a rear tire tread and it hit a guy on a motorcycle in the next lane. He lost it at 55 mph and went down in the middle of traffic. We all managed to miss him but it didn't matter because he never regained consciousness. Wrong place, wrong time.

Sorry just had to share.
