High Temp Paint

So i plan on getting a set of callipers painted. I was told I am limited to colours because I would need a high temp paint, and as I am not doing this myself I wanted to get it done in a one off colour. Does anyone know a place or shop that can custom make one off colours in high heat temp? I am having a real hard time finding a source.

Thanks, I was told by the body shop that regular ppg paint won't be good as it needs to be high paint. I am reading online that high temp paint is really needed for tracking and high temp situations. So regular ppg paint with a high temp clear coat would be sufficient to withstand normal driving?

When I painted my own I used the blue can in the pic, done a few track events and it's still as good as the day I painted it.

I just bought a bbk kit so I want to have a body shop paint the callipers while they aren't on the car. I think this way I can get a nice finish as they would be using a spray gun. I want to powder coat them but I don't want risk anyone ruining the seals or taking them apart. Hence I was leaning towards painting them with a clear coat. I seen a few lamborghini guys just paint them over there stock powder coated callipers which provides a shield to the heat being painted on. I just don't have enough knowledge about this. Nice to see some replies and all help is appreciated. I just installed my 21" ADV1 wheels today so once the BBK is on and I get the tint put on I will post some pics of the finished product.

Yep! My cousins GT3 has ceramics and he took off the calipers and got them done in a pearlescent white, and he goes to the track 3-4 times a month, it has been 2 or 3 years since he has got them painted with ppg paint and high-temp clear coat and no sign of any damage to he paint. The clear coat is what protects the ppg paint...

Damn I wish I could find someone in Sacramento who would do it as they all a reluctant telling me the paint will bubble and they don't want to be responsible or they are charging $500+ for the job. Also to install I am getting quoted $500+ for install. I want to find someone local so any Sacramento owners know of anyone let me know.

When I had my MKV GTI, I got a set of brand new R32 brakes and had the calipers powdercoated. The reason why I had them powdercoated was because its resistance to chemical in the brake dust. Regular paint would just dull over time.
