Previous owner upgrades

I got my 08 beast a couple months ago and I'm not really sure of all the upgrades/mods the previous owner made. I can see the obvious, lowered and exhaust (supersprint). But beyond these I have no idea. I'm thinking the cold start mod was done since it pretty quiet in the morning. I also have Stage 2 air intakes. Other than this I have no clue. My big question is the tune, is there any way to easily determine this?

Just try to rev the car past 8250. If you can do that, it is tuned for sure.

There could be other things done in a tune where the rev limiter was not raised so I would not let that alone be the determining factor of if a tune has been done or not.

Just out of curiosity, no offence if any but how do you buy a car without knowing what has been done to it?

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe he bought it at a used car dealer or off eBay/autotrader.

I would say run it over 170 and if you make it to 180 you have a tune, and the limiter was removed.

Yep, I bought it from a pretty good used car dealer. My experience is if you didn't do it you really don't know what's been done. Cosmetics are easy to spot but electronics are not.

Easy, take a read of your map, send it over to Evolve, if tuned, let them return it to stock and give you their tune, if stock, still let them tune it for u. You won't regret.
