Great! You're very lucky to have such a car at your age.

But are you dependant on your parents and burden them to assist in the cost of ownership? Earn only $100/week as your only source of income such as the OP?

Or are you financially free? If so, that's impressive at 18.

just curious is all.

pfft. at 18 I had a used beat up old 1990-esque Honda accord with almost 100K miles on it. The fanciest thing about it was a 6 cd changer in the trunk. That's when CDs, not ipods, where in style - remember those days? yeah!

Ok how about this. At 18 I drove my parents' 2-door 1990 toyota tercel hatchback, 4-speed MT (78 hp). It didn't have a right side passenger mirror because that was an OPTION (yes, an option). Also, about 10 years ago I rolled up to an (E39) M5 meet driving my parents' other car - a 1988 toyota camry.

I'm 22 and spend 85% of my monthly income to drive my car each month.

I could be saving a good amount of money, but I have the funnest time driving my M5!

I think it is up to each individual to decide what they want to do with their money.

I probably should have waited a few more years to get an M5, but I'm not regretting my decision at all.

Also I don't have a warranty. However I have 6k set aside in the event some repairs are needed.

Wish everyone the best with their car.
