BMW VIN DECODER for the list of options

Found this site from another board. I haven't seen it posted here, and thought this may be helpful to some.

Type in the last 7 from you VIN, solve the simple math problem, and you will get a list of options as well as the actual production date, exterior color code, interior trim type (e.g. wood type) of your vehicle.

LINK

This may also be helpful if you are looking into buying a used BMW and have the VIN to figure out all the options for that particular vehicle.

Wow - this is fantastic. It must be fetching the options from some central BMW database.

It worked for me when I tried again. I would love to have a copy of the window sticker or pricing breakdown.
