There are plenty of worrying threads about Rennen customer service and build quality on various forums.

I had my heart set on the R10's. I contacted Rennen direct and asked what tonne press they use to test their wheels.

They told me they use computer software to stress test their wheels

Too many issues for me to take a leap of faith. Shame as they make done lovely wheels

Okay, I will say that I was extremely reluctant to pull the trigger on my Rennen wheels based on what I've read over the last several years.

HOWEVER, I had absolutely zero issues with my wheel order. Most of the issues seemed to stem from their distributors and not Rennen directly. I contacted them directly and they gave me a great price and quoted me 3 weeks lead time. I'm thinking yeah right. Even if they do arrive on time there's going to be something wrong with them.

I have to give credit where credit is due. They got their act together now after all the bad press. My wheels are perfect and I love them. I am glad I waited for all the dust to settle before I ordered but I couldn't be happier. I can recommend them with confidence. Great looking wheels for a great price with fast delivery and good service.

Great looking wheels! Who makes these?
I would guess they look really good on Audi RS4/6/7, Porsche 997/Panamera and perhaps late C/E-class AMG's.

Not gonna lie I am starting to like these more and more! The styling is different but I saw it on an Audi SQ5 when I was in Italy and it just looked amazing! Rotiform has really never caught my attention before but I like how they have the option for a forged mono block or a forged three piece super concave on the BLQ wheel.

Hmm... decisions, decisions.

Just spent most of my lunch browsing this thread. Some nice shots! I'm waiting on new wheels for mine, will post up some pics soon :)

LOL Yeah she's loaded down with the OEM wheels and AS3's.

Awe yeah, I am feelin these wheels...
Do you have a brake kit too?? Stop tech? Damn I am slackin...
Thanks! The wheels have enough open air to really make the StopTech BBKs pop. I've always wanted the BBK to be more understated but after I saw this in the sun light I was like "yeah that's nice!" I looked a every picture in this thread and tons of websites and I just kept coming back to this style. I know some feel it's a bit played out but it's still what turns my head.

The modbargains crew has some really good prices. These are not weight savers... if you're looking for that you need to pony up the dollars on the other options out there. But for $800 or so, it's a nice cosmetic change and if you change your mind in a season or two you're not moving $5k wheels on the used forum.

Awesome, I am not trying for weight savings-- due to where I live, I have two sets of wheels on my cars, summer sticky and winter setup. I plan on refinishing my stock wheels for winter and that custom look for summer. Thanks, I will lookup modbargans for sure. I was thinking 20's for summer--- I am migrating the beast to daily as I only drive 5k mi per year. Sell the Merc in spring....

APEX ARC-8 19x9.5 ET22 12mm spacer front and 19x10.5 ET22 rear. Dropped on eibach springs. tires are hankook ventus evo 2 265/35/19(f) 295/30/19(r). Honestly these tires are skinny as hell, if i were to do it all over I would just go with oem size to fill up the gap from going to a smaller tire.

runniner 295/25/21s on the rears and knock on wood I haven't had one bent rim yet. Especially with the roads in Vancouver BC and the rainy weather we don't have the best of roads but a good quality forged wheel holds up and haven't had a bent rim yet on the ADV1s. I have been thru various 19-21" setups and at the end 21" suited just right comparing the differences with 20s and 21s. IMO the tire used on 21's matters the most with ride quality, so ****ty tire, ****ty ride. Michelin PSS ride nice and grip well.
