Will the E60 have the same trouble as the E65?

Exactly what trouble are you referring to?

I should have been a little less vague in my question! Sorry
With trouble I mean all the software troubles that the E65
has. All of that cars troubles apparently all software related.
I figure BMW will have this all ironed out for the E60. Especially since it should have less of the "goodies" which would mean less problems also!
Lastly for the second vote of "No." i really should have put it like "No, but i'll wait for the second model year anyway."
What do others think? Personally I'm really looking forward to the E60. The E39 looks dated in comparision to newer cars from MB, etc.. however I hope it doesn't have the "bangle-butt"..
No bangle-butt and i'll be in love!!!

Id be surprised if they had the same s/w problems with the E60. FYI I have an E65, late April delivery and I have had NO problems other than no nav voice for a few weeks- which I didnt mind anyway.
The real "problem" for the E60 will be the new design vocabulary that Bangle has the board buying into. it is meeting with a lot of resistance from the BMW faithful and beyond. Now thats a problem.

Same here in this country. My dad keeps in close contant with the sole BMW distributor in this country, and so far, it seems like the E65 has been problem free.

I dont believe that the E60 will have the same problems as all the new electronics(i drive etc) will have been tried and tested on the E65 platform for two years..thats not to say there wont be bugs of course!
all the best

More bogus posts about the 7 series
These polls are boring, useless, and uninformative. The new 7 series is sold out in the US. Most dealers are just take advanced orders. Yes, I'm sure you all will point out the Detroit BMW dealer might have a few around.
I think most of the 12 year olds on here posting about the design and iDrive are clueless. The design is breathtaking. You know why it's breathtaking? Cause it's my freakin' opinion that it is. And apparently my opinion is following suit in the marketplace.
As for the iDrive, about an hour in a test drive of the car, I had it down pat. But of course, there are some people who resisted the move to mouse, graphics interface, and and a Palm.

The design's taken in pretty well... it's been about 4 months since the 7 was launched... I've seen quite a number so far.
