So you can flash the SMG using the same cable from Evolve? Does it plug into the OBD2 port?

Peak gain was 15whp & 10tq. The SMG software is not effected. For that you will have to get a SMG tune which Vodyk as posted up. The gains are showed in the whole rev range & not just at the peak which is awesome. Its everyday usable power. I love driving the car in downtown L.A and west hollywood, you can feel that extra tq & it just picks up down-low.

I am more than happy to give you the Khyber Euro LC experience. I think the next one I plan to do is in May. Its really hard not to use it. I am going to use your idea as well & make a video of U.S spec LC vs Euro LC just for kicks, curious to see what happens, lol.

Great review, thanks for taking the time to post videos and dyno results. Its one thing to see just the numbers but to see a video just confirms the numbers in the real world!! Thanks.

Like Revo said I did my EURO SMG tuning @ EAS (European Auto Source). I am not sure if the Evolve-R cable can do that, would have to ask Vodyk or Sal @ Evolve for that info.

Yes, the Evolve-R cable plugs into the OBD-2 port!

Man Kyber! You just had to post something to spark my curiosity to spend more money. Nice review! Less than 200 mi left to break in on my Dinan diff! Euro SMG tune for me next Tue along with some other stuff.

I bet you can't wait to let it loose. Is anyone planning a local May run? Would love to see what that Dinan Diff is like in person. The Mod bug never stops.

He/Her jotted to the right and didn't expect another M5 to be there, only if he went to his/her left. It was the sad point of the runs. Poor guy.

So what did your friend in the other M5 say about your tune?? I want his exact quote.. Haha

I'm picking up my beast from SZL replacement tomorrow morning.. It's been off the Evolve tune since early January. I'm at a loss for words to describe how anxious I am to load the updated file.
