Thanks for the review thus far..
This might be the last thing for me minus the JAWs single plenum. Trying to squeeze as much power/speed naturally aspirated as I can without stroking or boost haha

The diff would help restore what is lost from those gorgeous huge wheels/tyres you are running BUT you can't gain the extra fuel used back
exactly my thoughts. 70lbs per tire/wheel in the rear isn't bad for a 21x13 IMO, could be WAY worse. The diff would definitely help me down low again, doing the intake would improve the top (assuming when it comes out it makes more top end power) so it'll help Gunther be even more of a menace

Ahmed, not sure if you're asking me.
Here is my current setup:
Radenergie Headers
Radenergie R-GT DTM Exhaust
RDsport pulleys
RPI scoops
Rpi block off plates
RPI oil cooler
BMC drop ins
ESS Tune.
I have the 3.91 on mine and I do love it, it does have some downsides though.
In automatic mode, the car wont shift gears by itself, you have to make it do so by easing on the gas pedal. The thing I really like is, if your at 40mph in 6th or 7th gear, just giving gas will return so much more torque, its like you dont have to downshift.
This is certianly a TRUE MOD with an absolute BANG for your buck completing the E60 M5 by providing better low end torque, a segment that was lacking the most.
Anyway,
I am about to top it off with a Pulley and headers later next month.
Also,
My Diff has the whinning noise, but its not too bad. I can hear it but it doesnt bother me that much since I play my music when in the car all the time.
Important Note to Everyone looking at Dinan Diff
One would think that Dinan is a big company who has product numbers on their parts but the answer is a straight NO.
So, please keep your invoice/proof of purchase with you, in case there is any warranty issue, because without it they dont warranty anything. Also, register your purchase on their website.
Do you hear any whining from the diff? There were a lot of complaints about a whining noise which is the main reason I haven't done this.

It been little over 2 years since I got Dinan rear diff, mine experience with the rear diff was little different. First rear diff made whine noise through out the different speed and Dinan sent me a second one, and that was little better because it only made whine noise at one particular speed(70 mph). But if I think about, I didn't drive the Beast offen as I should during the break in period so my whine noise took longer to disappear. Pass this Saturday, I try to duplicate the whine at 70 mph, and it isn't there anymore.
So, my 2 cent is, break in period is very important!
Good luck on you next mod!

I have the 3.91 and I'm considering selling it, but have not desided yet so don't ask. With the stroker and the way the shifts fall I would like to get to 130mph in 4th and save a shift in the 1/4 mile run and 60-130mph. Also it does cruse at 2700-3000 on the hwy so what is the stock gearing rpm at 70-75mph?
