They did do a rolling start and they were even until Eloy started pulling away at the end so your statement doesn't make a lot of since to me. I realize hp numbers can’t be just compared and that every dyno is going to be different but you have to use some kind of benchmark to understand what you are seeing. As far as hp numbers go, I don't understand how Eloy's car dynoed 578rwhp and now we are saying that it is really 527rwhp. Is that a correction factor? Please explain for my own knowledge.
In comparison, take the Dinan stroker M5 against the 997tt. Virtually the same numbers we are talking about on both cars. The stroker walks it on every roll on test fairly easy. I only use this because this is the closest thing I can come up with at this point. None of this is meant to be an argument, only discussion.
I don't think anyone here is saying that the e60 or the f10 is in the same class. It is obviously not. The GTR is the king of the hill at the moment and virtually every car out there is comparing their car to it. It is something to shoot for, that’s all. There is nothing wrong with doing that. Maybe, if Eloy would have had his car ready for a one time race as everyone else did we would not be having this discussion? Before I get flamed...That is not a diss on Eloy what so ever. I have respect for everything he has done for our community.
