Im not sure if the oil leak would have effected performance. I dont think it would. THe heak soak would have though. The car needs to be moving in order for the SC's cooling system to work. While I was in line to run, I had the car running the entire time while parked (about 45minutes). I still trapped 167mph so I think I did pretty well. Sometimes, there are just cars that are faster.

Stretch that event out another half or full mile and you would have chased down some pretty good cars. What other speeds were cars hitting?

You did just fine
My question is if the air temps could be kept cooler would you be able to reach higher top speed? If so let's get working on a design

The difference in the kits are about 50hp. The difference in bolt ons are about another 35-40hp

It was a great event and it was awsome seeing the RPI M5 out there running and performing very well considering the elevation we were at and the temperature. I was happy to see that the M5 pulled on me cause it gave me a good idea on how the car will run with the ESS VT-2 kit. Great run Eloy!!!!
