Come on now, I would never get a v8 if a v10 was offered Even better I got a reckless driving the 2nd day I had the car..... That was not cheap to get dismissed...

Yeah I would love to race your car before it gets the extra hp, haha. I am not so good at launching the R8 but my 60 to 130 times are around 8.7 to 9.2. Just depends on how the R-tronic decides to shift. If I shift over 7,500 RPM it looks like there is a safety feature in there that doubles the shift time. FYI the car has a tune. Picked up about 60 hp and 50 TQ. Should be roughly the same speed as the LP 560 now. A little more HP but also weighs about 100lbs more. I am pretty sure your car would smoke me though still especially over 100 mph.

That's annoying. Similar to what VT2 people are reporting also - slower shifts under WOT with the kit installed. I guess ESS puts that in the transmission coding to keep the tranny from blowing up?

Yeah it does suck. If you take the same exact car and give it DCT and one a SMG the SMG car is already about a full second slower from 60 to 130.

Actually the car is not shifting slower but more like the SMG mechanical shift can not shift any faster than it is. The problem with us VT2 guys is that the shift lag becomes more pronounced when we have so much power available and we just want it to go There is no coding that is done by ESS as I have asked Roman about this 4 times now.

Haha one thing I can say for sure is the m5board is amazing. I tried doing the r8talk board but people are just snobby and asking me why I care if the car shifts slow and why do I have a vbox on the R8 and blah blah blah..

ACG what's your best recorded 60-130 with the kit - I think you were at mid 8s somewhere in this thread. Tried to find it a bit, but the thread has gotten a bit long...

Wow no kidding. That's another reason Audi can never be BMW - the owners...

...no offense duhawks - you'll be back some day...
