I'm no professional so I decided to get one to take some better pictures of the beast that I could share with the board. A few weeks ago I had these photos taken at the Goat Farm just west of downtown Atlanta. The Goat Farm is a 12-acre compound that's been transformed from a cotton mill started in 1889 to an arts community where private concerts are held, art happenings, films, and of course photography. It even has roosters and goats - thus the name.

All these shots were taken either on the Goat Farm or in locations directly surrounding it. By the way, the Concept One wheels in the photos were taken off since I went back to stock wheels and tires for our track day a couple of weeks ago. I'm going for a new look in a few weeks so the Concept Ones are for sale if anyone's interested. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/pa...coupe-alpina-models/198645-feeler-20-concept-one-cs-5-0-hankook-ventus-v12.html

Enough talk, here a few pictures. I'll post more when I have time. Enjoy:biggrinbounce:

Wow, seriously wow.

That really is an amazing looking car. The photographer did a fantastic job. I love the environment you chose. The depth of color in the pictures is mesmerizing.

Which RPi exhaust components do you have and what is your opinion of them?

Do you know the offsets on the wheels by chance?

Thank you :)

Thanks, yes, the photographer did a fantastic job. I just gave her conceptual ideas of what I wanted and she did the rest. I have well over 100 pictures and all are top notch. It was difficult picking only a few to post, but I'll put up more later that are worthy of viewing.

I have the following RPI components:

Scoops/block off plates/BMC filter - Absolutely the best bang for the buck as far as performance mods go. I noticed the difference right away with the scoops, especially over 80 MPH

GTS full exhaust - This is the best performing aftermarket exhaust. Not only does it make my car faster, but it sounds soooo sweet! I used to have a Corsa exhaust with RE x-pipe and switched it out for the RPI to get more performance. I didn't know I would like the look of the tips so much more as well as the sound. For the price, you can't go wrong here - especially now that Eloy is making longer tips for the new ones

Pulley - Not so much an increase in dyno performance, but more a seat of the pants feel. It definitely makes the car more responsive in the lower RPM range where the beast tends to be sluggish.

I also have a tune from OE Tuning that added about 15 - 20 HP, but I really got this so the car would run better and it does. I'm considering the RPI headers, but I'm afraid that it might push my car over the edge with sound. I already wake up my neighbors every morning with cold starts!

Wheel offsets are 18mm front (20X9) and 25mm rear (20X10.5). I had 12.5mm TMS spacers all around on my factory wheels and I left them on with the Concept Ones. The front is perfect with the 12.5mm spacers, but the rear rubbed with them so I removed them. At most, the rears can take a 5mm spacers, but they aren't needed back there with this offset.

Wow, seriously wow.

Thanks, yes I agree. That's the look I was going for. I wanted something industrial and rustic without looking "dirty". The photographer got it right!

wow very nice.

Those pictures of the car, the setting, gives everything a classy rustic look.
Thanks. I asked for them to be more glossy and it was an overcast day so it was perfect to captured the reflection of the car without a lot of shadows.

These look cool - almost chrome-like on some pics.

GLWTS - I would have had the rims if you were UK side.
Thanks, answered offset above. Come by Sun Tinting and take a look at them if you want (::: SunTinting.com ::) They're not going back on the car and they've got new tires on them. The wheels are pretty close to new also.

Very nice - love the look. Was going to ask the same question regarding the offset on the wheels.
Thanks ttribe. It's a pretty cheap mod when you use high temp paint instead of powder coating them. The ACS style spoiler is why I sent you my OEM. I'm glad it found a new home. Your pictures were awesome too!

Beautiful pictures! Love the color matched calipers.

Wow Khanh, where have you been? I haven't even seen you around the neighborhood. We put a picture of you and the AW beast on all the milk cartons and the trail is still cold :D. You've got to come hang out with us at the next meet if you're in town. By the way, I know someone that wants to buy your car. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Thanks Doug! We'll meet soon I'm sure. Just come up for one of our meets, track day or C&O. You know I'll be there! I did consider changing to the gloss front and side grilles, but I wanted to keep a little chrome for contrast to match the wheels. Now that I'm selling them I'll probably make the change to gloss black. I think I learned from Brian's experience to go with the OEM's. They're expensive though!!:eek:h:

Looks great Anthony. Looking forward to checking out your ride in person one day. Have you consider gloss black front and side grills? I made the switch and very happy with the result. Go with oem ones though.
Me too! Indy is my favorite color because it certainly has a different appearance in different light. It's really cool how cloudy days make the car look totally different from sunny days!

Great pictures! I love how the Indy Red looks like different shades depending on the lighting. That's one of the reasons I love this color so much....

The car looks amazing and the pictures are fantastic. Can you tell me a little about your steering wheel? Did you just have the factory piece painted or did you buy the silver trim for it? I have been considering CF but after seeing yours it makes me consider a painted piece instead.

Thanks

Very nice pictures, the car looks so clean.

You can get the trim off ebay as it is the trim that comes on the 535i cars, I changed mine last year to silver when it started peeling.

I have aluminum trim so it looks good in my car.

phenomenal ride; fantastic post processing.

Thanks, I guess you get what you pay for!

Thanks, yes, the wheels are like the Indy Red... they change color with the light

Very nice. The color of your wheels really catches my eye. They are unique and classy. Great work.
Thank you, I'll be sure to put up a link to her website/email when I get it tomorrow. She's local to Atlanta and she has a full catalog of locations for shooting nice photos.

Wow, Amazing, Epic..... The pics are great and your ride is perfectly amazing. The photo shoot is professional to say the least. If you don't mind please share the photographers details with us because I would love to get some done for my ride as well.

Thanks,

Jitoo
Thanks B!

Pictures look awesome Anthony. Great job with pictures.
I like it a lot.
Thanks JME, that means a lot coming from the mod master!

Great shots and tastefully done, thanks for sharing
Ummm, yes but I didn't actually see any goats when I was there. Lots of birds though that I feared would have some target practice during the photo shoot.

....that was a goat farm... :-\
I'm always down for a car gathering. Just shoot me a PM or get me your email and let me know when you'll be in town. We have a local M club called M-Atlanta where we all get together regularly. We have a post here where we usually update our next meeting time/location. Right now I think we're planning to meet on 2/4 or 2/9 somewhere on the north side of town.

dude, your car is really gorgeous!!! I'm planning to visit my friend Atlanta soon. Perhaps you down to gather a couple of cars? he's a big German car freak.
Thanks, I'll put more pictures up tonight when I get home.

Amazing pictures! Your beast looks great!
Your photographer did a fantastic job. Color saturation and lighting were perfectly managed. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see more.
Thanks, me too! I bought the steering wheel from a vendor on eBay, but lots of guys just strip the black coating off and paint them or leave them gloss black. Here's the exact part that I purchased when he was an eBay vendor...

EuroActive.com - Buy Genuine BMW & Land Rover Parts and Accessories Online

I like it! A lot! What did you do to your steering wheel Y trim and how did you do it?

More Goat Farm Footage

Sorry it's taken me a few days to get more pictures up, but here they are. I know that everyone does the see through hood, but I thought it would be neat to get one of my own car instead of using someone else's for my wall paper:biggrinbounce:

Also, for anyone interested in hiring my photographer her name is Cary Muller. Her emaill address is her full name @gmail (dot) com. She's revising her website but it should be back online shortly. Now, on to the rest of the pictures...
