Supersprint vs RPI or Evolve headers

so, I am still researching headers as Colorado has those silly emissions tests. If I do not care about the low end tq but want more of the top end pull, what would be the best way to go- of course emissions testing is important. Lets not forget , I want to keep my V10 sound.

There are only 2 brands that can be interchanged from test pipe back to cats and they have both been mentioned above.
Also there are plenty of threads that discuss this so do a search.

Exhaust Options

Allwheeldrive

RPI and Evolve do have options for our cars. It depends on the direction you want to go in. Evolve has incorporated a high flow cat into the primary header and they also provide a primary header with a straight pipe that can be exchanged with your stock primary catalyst when you go for your emissions test. Quite frankly, I like the stock primary headers with the high flow cats (install and forget). I am really surprised that RPI has not made this an option as well. I really don't want to deal with taking my beast to a dealer or crawling under my beast just to change from a straight pipe back to a catalyst to pass an emissions test which I have to face as well. (Been there done that, tired of it). I have pm'd Evolve, have not heard back yet, but you do have options with Both tuner's. Good luck, but plan it our well before you make the move.

Supersprint will give you the highest power gains without any doubt. They are the most well built and technologically advanced headers for the V10. I believe you can use them with the OEM cats so emissions should not be a problem.

RPI/Evolve both do the same thing. They take the OEM headers and remove the cats or put racing cats on them. I have the Evolve RS headers with 100 cell racing cats and couldn't be happier. I don't get the CEL light with these headers so emissions testing should not be a problem.

In the end, the choice is pretty simple. How much do you want to pay to get the cats removed from your headers?
