I would like to hear from someone who has it how the car launches, if you have please chime in. I'm just not sure how I would get better traction launched at 4100rmp when I have none at 1500rpm. Maybe it limits the power output until traction is achived>
Curtis I did a launch in my car with the higher rpm, it does work and you do not burn up tires, you have to remember not to lift off the gas as that will exit LC mode and spin the tires. I hear from the guys across the pond that after a dozen tries their clutch was gone so I would not make a habit of using it.

So Paul are you saying your car spins the rear tires less when you use your 4100rpm launch than it does if you just punch the throttle from a stop? If thats the case then the computor must be slipping the clutch as traction allows.

I tried my new Euro LC a couple times but did it wrong. I lifted a second or so after I let go of the shifter so the wheels spun like crazy. Haven't had a chance to try again.

Well, I assume ESS built the SC for European-spec cars too so I don't see why it would be an issue.

You're already the guinea pig for the VT2 SC so don't be a chicken. If something happens to your clutch, what's $4K-$5K out of your pocket to fix...chump change for you Paul. LOL
