Just from my own test and mine is test even at 1500 launch control my car goes up in smoke.............. with PS2.... I'm not sure what a stock M5 will do at 4100rpm but if its not slipping the clutch when it engages I'm sure it will be slipping the tires in the pavement as mine does... I would like to hear from someone who has it how the car launches, if you have please chime in. I'm just not sure how I would get better traction launched at 4100rmp when I have none at 1500rpm. Maybe it limits the power output until traction is achived>
Curtis I did a launch in my car with the higher rpm, it does work and you do not burn up tires, you have to remember not to lift off the gas as that will exit LC mode and spin the tires. I hear from the guys across the pond that after a dozen tries their clutch was gone so I would not make a habit of using it.

So Paul are you saying your car spins the rear tires less when you use your 4100rpm launch than it does if you just punch the throttle from a stop? If thats the case then the computor must be slipping the clutch as traction allows.

That's what I'm saying. Not sure how it works but I am sure google can provide an answer
I tried my new Euro LC a couple times but did it wrong. I lifted a second or so after I let go of the shifter so the wheels spun like crazy. Haven't had a chance to try again.

I dare not try now with the SC.....I would hate to see the dreaded red cog
Well I am not going to be the guinea pig.......let someone else try it first and then I will follow
You're already the guinea pig for the VT2 SC so don't be a chicken. If something happens to your clutch, what's $4K-$5K out of your pocket to fix...chump change for you Paul. LOL

Then I will visit the bank of Frodo to get it fixed
