I installed the tune on a stock M5 has well. My best advice; install your updated remap file, drive the car for approximately 50 to 100 miles. With the charcoal filters, and other items on a stock car the difference in performance is not immediately noticeable.

On M5's with modifications the remap difference is almost immediate, so don't be discouraged.

Please let us know what the issues were and feed back on the corrected/new tune. It will help others have confidence in customer support and know what to do if similar is encountered in the future.

These things happen and its how its delt with that matters.

Cheers

Jay

Thats great, we don't want a witch hunt so giving Evolve a chanch to correct this first is the way to go. Just let us know what 'issues' you had and what Evolve did to sort, that way those going this route might not panic

Cheers
Jay

Nothing went wrong. Actually the install is quite painless and it seems to be a very robust process.

I don't see any reason why anyone would need to worry. Evolve isn't going to leave you out to dry.

Ahmed and Hasan, I just noticed your responses to raising the rev limiter, I just wanted to clarify that raising it does help in minimizing the amount of shifts but that depends on what speed you are doing the runs at and probably what mods you have but I also noticed no difference in SMG shifts as I did a few vbox runs and the lag time is the same at 8000rpm or 8600rpm, again maybe this is also mod dependant.

335xi I wish you the best in getting this issue resolved quickly

Hey Sal,

No problem, I knew you would... in your own time. I'm just curious if its because of different country software causing issue or possibley not running the lastest firmware??

Cheers
Jay
