Just flashed 2 more 2006's in NY and 1 2006 m6 on Long Island, NY. They all couldn't believe the night and day difference in the launch control and also that it shifted much smoother.

I have a 2006. Pembroke Pines is only 20 minutes away from me so you name the date and time.
If I am in town I am there.
However, if you are not coming soon, I will be happy to drive up Lakeland for this.

Just a reminder since its not stickied anywhere 08+ cannot use the cable described in the first post I wish someone would delete this whole thread and make one centralized list of all the important stuff somewhere. You need an icom to flash 08+ the k+dcan USB will not work and brick your smg computer.

So was it CONFIRMED that the DCAN cable bricks ALL 2008+ models? I thought it was more often we saw that, but I didn't think it was determined that the DCAN cable would FOR SURE brick it? It is my understanding that the ICOM will work with all cars, right??

I haven't heard of a single 08 able to flash with a dcan cable without bricking or failing. It's been pretty much confirmed that an ICOM is needed.
