I actually bought this cable on eBay and was thinking of just reading and possibly code the mirrors:

Look at this on eBay:

I'm in Central Florida if anyone would like to try flashing on their car.
so is this the cable I would need to set my 06 M5 up for 4k launch control. What else would I need, can you down load program from the web? can you give me a link and set by step if I was to do it myself?

Times like this are when I wish I bought a PC over a Mac! lol

I would love a step by step but I'm going to give this a try in the coming days and weeks and learn how to code, I really want that Euro Launch Control and Euro TCU program!

I have an 06 and live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Is there any board members willing to flash my car. Willing to travel 3-4 hundred miles to have it done. Chicago and millwaukee are probably the biggest cities in that mile range.

Just install windows xp/vista/7 on your Mac with boot camp drivers. Not difficult at all and will do the job just fine.

I believe Boot Camp allows you to install Windows on your Mac. I'm not a Mac owner, but I believe that is a piece of software that will allow you to run Windows on your Mac.

Under apps/utilities you'll find boot camp. You also need your original osx install disc which has windows drivers on it.
