So I tried launching this morning and the first attemp, the wheels spun like crazy and I almost went sideways. I turned around and tried it again but this time, when I released the gear lever, the rpms shot up but the car didn't move! I stopped and tried again and same thing happened.

I vaguely recall that you have to wait a certain amount of time between launches but not sure. Is that what happened? Going to see if I can try it again tomorrow.

Technically your tires didn't spin at 4K rpms. When you let go of the gear lever, the rpms shoot up so your wheels are probably spinning at above 6K rpms in that instant.

That said, my understanding is that LC is supposed to control and minimize wheel spin for an efficient launch so not sure why our tires are spinning that much.

Just realized I did it wrong as I didn't push the gas pedal all the way down and kept it down. Will try it again soon.
