Car broken into last night


Some pikey fookers decided to break in to my Beast last night. Smashed the rear glass and stole my laptop (hidden under the load bay cover).

My fault for leaving the laptop in there, but looks like they would have broken into it anyway.

Bummer.

This is why I wouldn´t use that cover in a station wagon, it teases those damn ******s and makes them think that your hiding something, which you did. I feel sorry for you

Ouch Same thing happened my parents two days ago, also wit hthe cover over the cargo. Which was childclothes

I have had this happen several times and have learned to not get too upset. Get the window repaired quickly, and put this event behind you.
My last broken window was repaired the same day.

You're quite right. I got on the case stright away and the glass has been replaced and I had the car valeted at a local place, so she's all shiney and looking good again (just got her back 10 mins ago).

Still really pi$$ed about the whole thing and ended up wasting my entire day getting it sorted. And it rained here as well.

Bar Stewards!! Hope they cut themselves, must of made a hell of a noise.
And just to rub salt, don't leave your laptop in the car over night as I ge so many disk failures from really cold laptops being brought into warm offices. could'nt work it out for a few years that in October Novemeber we started to get loads of dead disks, and when pushed a lot of the guys admitted it.

Not that you have a laptop any more to worry about, so thats good.

Makes my blood boil theiveing scum.
