They never did the right thing from the beginning so why would they now. Really bothers me how someone can not care about destroying your your property and then expect you to be happy with a low ball insurance settlement. There has not been a settlement by the way. I would like to say that BMWNA is extremely unhappy with the crash dealership and have been very supportive. However the extent of their support is not clear at this time. BMWNA has stated to me that they are doing an internal investigation into the accident and this dealerships practices. I will let you know more when I know.

Thank you for all the support!

Tommy

Don't worry brother things will work out and you will prevail!! :M5eyes:

Good luck Tommy! Hope they come back with a fair settlement in your favor. Everyday that goes by without a resolution is another day you can't enjoy your M. What rental did they give you?

I didn't except a vehicle since I was unable to receive a "like type" car. I have been Mless for 5 weeks now and it sucks!

PCH 18th September 2010 04:29

They shoulda at least given you a new 5series rental. That blows!

tjav8b 18th September 2010 04:50

I was offered a regular 5 series but I did not take it.

Good to hear and i hope you get a great replacement car soon.

I'm assuming your insurance totalled the car for you and i hope they go after the insurance of the dealer since they are responsible for the damage and get the money reimbursed from them. Keep us posted.

:confused2

I understood it was the crash dealership's insurance company he was working with, not his insurance compay. Do I have this backwards?

:confused2

I see.
If it was the new bodystyle 5 series they were offering you, I probably woulda taken it as a loaner (on their bill).
If it was the previous gen., I woulda passed too.

Would you be willing to wait for the new F10 M5 when they hit the NA market? If so, wait for it and get yourself a Ford Fiesta in the mean time...

Any 5 series loaner is better than taking the bus
