Kees: I don't think this has anything to do with being a new member. We need to know so we can avoid this dealer.
I believe waiting until the matter has been resolved is counter productive because this dealer will continue business as usual screwing customers left and right. I'm sure the OP is not the first customer that has been screwed by this dealer, it just happens the OP came forward and shared his experience with us. The dealer has already expressed reluctance to help the OP and make him a happy and satisfied customer, so why let him continue with his wickedness?
IMO, any existing and potential new customers need to be aware of this dealers antics, it's the fair thing to do.
That's my belief and I'm sticking to it!
