just curious as to what you think...out of those 260 500 views, how many are actually different people? Meaning not the same user who keeps coming back to check the views...Because the thread counter counts each time you hit F5 I assume ?

Returning to the boards after a few years away, and I hope the OP gets everything he asks for.

Assuming that the actual truth of the story is how it's been presented--and I have no reason to doubt the OP's veracity, unlike 1bimmerguy or whatever his name was--this dealer screwed up in massive proportions. The initial joy-riding accident was bad enough, and then to compound that error through deceit and total apathy in solving the problem is completely unforgivable.

I don't reside in the D/FW area, but I do travel there for business on a regular basis as my company's headquarters are located in FW. Rest assured that I will inform all of my D/FW-based, BMW-driving coworkers (of which there are many, this being an aerospace company of literally thousands of engineers) of this thread's existence. That way, they can make the decision for themselves regarding whether or not they'll trust this dealership with their service needs and potential future business.

Good luck with the proceedings tjav8b, hope it ends to your satisfaction with a minimum of additional annoyance.

On what do you base this confidence? Are you trying to say that this is an every day occurrence, therefore it is a non-issue and the OP shouldn't be upset about this?

You contest the OP's facts. Frankly, who cares how fast the car was moving. The damage was done and it is sever and the Dealership needs to man up and take responsibility.

This thread isn't about which BMW forums you frequent and how wonderful they are.
This thread isn't about you having driven a 550i (wow) or M3 (wowwow) and enjoying it.
This thread isn't about whether you're a BMW fanboy or not.
This thread isn't about the dealership owner frequenting the same church as you and how that makes the sun shine out of his butt.
This thread isn't about the OP having to comply to your requests for pictures of the crash location.
And this thread certainly isn't about you and your baseless opinions on an accident you know nothing about.

This thread is about tjav8b and the way he is being screwed sideways by a dealer he entrusted with his car and who totally abuses that trust.

Hope this helps.
I sure hope so!

If the dealer had only come clean right from the beginning - and owned up to what happened.

The driver / shitbird / so called mechanic - who took a joyride in the ///M5 should have had his balls hung from the nearest tree.
Even if they won't replace the car - they should have given tjav8b some serious dough - or a bigtime discount toward the next ///M5

Personally, I would never go there again if they didn't make me whole.

To my understanding, this issue has been resolved ...... is that right ?
Very sorry to hear about this unfortunate situation

I wish you the very best -

We all do

278 000 views... Does it really need to hit 300 000 views from BMW M5 and M6 owners before something happens?

quite frankly IMHO at this point this board and all the other internet forums carrying this story are irrelevant....
The proverbial cat is out of the bag.....the OP I'm sure has retained an attorney.....the Dealer's insurance company is involved.....and moreover the Court of Public Opinion has already come to a verdict.
Riddle me this: Would anyone here EVER use the dealer in question EVEN if they have a revelation and just give the OP a "like" M5??
I think not....things have really progressed too far.
All the Best to the OP
