I check this status every day and so do others....
70,000 viewings. This has really struck a chord with all M5 Beast owners. The sad point is there are good and bad everywhere. I go past 3 other BMW dealers to get to my dealer who I have purchased 4 BMW's from in the past. 65 miles for an oil change is 'far' by Rhode Island standards, but worth the trip to New Hampshire in my opinion.
If and when the name of the dealer is posted, may I suggest all BMW M5 message board members flood the e mail system of the offending dealer in a show of support for the OP ?

Your pictures have lit another fire under me. How the hell could they have gotten $2500 repair bill from that damage. Did your quote from the Crash Dealership come with a list of parts and labor prices? I'd love to hear what their quote specifically stated.
I've noticed you are getting reply's/support from many different BMW model owners on this thread. It's so refreshing to see the entire BMW community ban together here.
More thoughts:
The MAJORITY of us do not live in your area and would not be able to show face to support BUT once the name of the Dealership has been made public there are things called cell phones that can be used to call the Dealership. Imagine if the crash dealership continually received phone calls ALL DAY expressing bluntly our opinions on how they have treated TJAV8Bs situation. One phone call every day from each of us sure would be a pain in the @ss for them, huh? hm mm mm mm
I really think it wouldnt hurt, but I respect the OP's wishes if that''s not a strategy he wants to employ. Id gladly call them up and tell the Service Manager he's a disgrace. WHY? Because he's responsible for his agents, 2. because the $2500 estimate was beyond UNETHICAL, to even a lay person , even a complete idiot could see it was astronomically more than that.
AS far as WHO it is, it probably isnt hard to figure out- as the OP's location is stated as Fort Worth, so the only authorized dealer that pops up in that area is........XXX there's just one dealer per BMW's site...But I do not know if OP took his car to this dealer, I just looked at the info that's listed on his posts.
I respect what seems like the OP's wishes to NOT tell us who this is yet, but I looked to just make sure I never deal with them, especially considering I am driving cross country w/ the M5 and will be in that area.
