KW Variant 3 M5 - Gunther

Got my KW's installed finally. Big thanks to FlordiaBMW for the hook
They make driving such a pleasure. More than the M5 already is.

BTW running 255/35/20 F and 295/30/20 R
I'm going to have the rear fenders pulled so I can fit 305s if I choose (The offset is aggresive and wheel is only 10.5 inches wide so 315 would be a push)

Enjoy, will post when it's at its lowest

Sweet ride!!!

How much did you drop the car with the KW? How's the ride compared to springs?

Almost a twin...

SpaceGray! I love your car man!

I'm not sure what height I'm at, but I'm resetting it once the coils are fully set in since the suspension is brand new

The dampening is two clicks stiffer in the rear though.

GET THEM.

I want to drive my car 24/7 now becuase of them, thats how good they are

I had KW V2s on my E46 M3 and they were simply amazing. I can only imagine how good the V3s are on the M5.

The car corrnered so flat that you could take all sorts of corners at substantially higher speeds than with the standard suspension.

When i returned the car back to stock so that I could trade it on the M5 I couldn't believe how much the M3 seemed to wallow throught corners!

Brisbane,
The M5 no longer feels like a boat with the KWs,
Last night there's an onramp here in LA that turns into a pretty hard-turning S-curve.

The recommended speed limit is 45mph on the S-curve. I used to take it at about 60mph with my H&Rs, but last night I successfully did 83mph, and without the slightest hint of slip! You can feel the suspension dig down.

I would HIGHLY recommend getting them if you like to drive hard once in a while
