New Garagemate for the ///M ...

My brother picked this up yesterday.

2008 C6 LS3 w/ 3LT package with only 2,000 miles

Haven't had a chance to fully open it up due to the rain but acceleration should be very similar to my M5.

Acceleration is no where near your M5. I used to take these on from a dig with my E39 M5. But then the C6 would pull away after 70mph.

I think your talking about the LS2(400hp), this is the LS3. They have ran 11.7 bone stock. Its rated at 430hp/424ft lbs. The motor is very under rated to keep the 505hp z06 sell-able. I'd estimate it at around 460-475hp.

What do you think of the auto? I get bored by most conventional automatics, but I'm wondering your impressions, as some can be decent. Thats a great price btw.

Your right it is boring, after driving my SMG its very hard to go to a conventional auto. The vette has paddle shifters but it doesn't compare the the shifting of the M5. The avg GM customer could care less about a trans though, they are more into the motor. I love the feel of the trq down low on the vette.

Nothing big. Light tint, vararam intake, and a tune. One of the best corvette tuners in the country is out of Michigan. Im excited to see what he can squeeze out of this thing.
