2 buzzing noises from dash, any ideas on how to fix?

One seems to emanate from the center console area. The other from the HUD area. They only happen when I drive over pavement that's rough. We have a lot of that now with the tough winter we had. Lots of plow damage. I am pretty good at fixing buzzes and rattles if they are located. These only happens when the asphalt is in bad shape and or really grainy.

Thx

I searched prior to posting my question. I tried holding the BC buttons but the buzz won;t go away. It's definitely coming from the dash.

I read somewhere about a few people complaining about their navigation DVD causing a buzz sound. Try removing it to see if this is one of the sounds you hear

Any sounds other then that of the V10 make me angry too

My suspect is the HUD area though. This buzz wasn't present before. Today it was buzzing over every highway expansion joint as well. Perhaps it's the temp change. I've only had the car for 3 months and it's been consistently below freezing (or slightly above) until the last 3-4 days which is when I started noticing the buzz. FYI, it's a plasticky sounding buzz, not metallic.

There is a service bulletin about a noise behind the iDrive display.
The source of the noise is the brace in the engine compartment between the shock towers and firewall.
The fix is tightening the bolts. Sorry, I don't have more details.

I have had my E60 for 3 months and have 3 Rattle/ buzzing noises. First one is the plastic that covers the instrument panel. (sometimes) The most annoying one is behind the fan speed adjust switch, I took a small piece of a business card and put it in between and the noise stopped!! The third one is somewhere in the ashtray area and I cant seem to find how to stop that? The buzzes are EXTREMELY annoying!! Hope you find where your rattle is coming from..
