Small issue with driver's side rear window (E60 M5)...

I am at nearly 50k miles, a few months out of warranty... I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. My rear left window only goes up and down incrementally, stopping every few inches. I have to push the button again to get it to go another few inches. I dont hear any strange sounds, and the speed of the window is the same. Perhaps my switch is shorting?

Thanks!

I swear it started happening within 5 days of my warranty expiring! And my "M" button is intermittent now also... mmmm. Owell I think window regulators are only a hundred bucks or so. The labor putting it in is where the damage may come. I am researching now and will post what I find.

I had that! Was annoying as much anything else. Was fixed under warranty but not sre what they did. It happened after the actual rubber/material came down WITH the window once.

Is there there no BMW extended warranty in the States?! I sure wouldn't want my beast without one!

There is an extended warranty available, and I will purchase it if I keep this car. I am debating trading for a 09 or 10, or maybe keeping my car until the F10 M5 drops... or maybe even keeping it forever!
