SMG Adjust by the Dealer

I have been having some SMG issues on my 2006 that I have a question about. I have been driving the car for a while and during that time you really get to know a car. There are times when during a shift (either up or down) when the car isn't as smooth as it used to be. I wouldn't say it has a "clunky" feeling nor is it a loud noise - just a little something that makes me think that it is off a little bit. I even notice it when I stop the car and idle before work while talking on the phone. When I power it down and then move it from N to 1st gear it doesn't feel smooth during that transition.

I know about the SMG reset that a driver can do, but are there any adjustments that can be made by a BMW mechanic or do they have to replace the clutch/parts?
