Been looking all over the place but can't find anything to my taste.

I love the vorsteiner hood in quality but it just misses some aggression for that amount of money.

Then you have the VIS carbon GTR hood which I allready asked about but doesn't work for me either cause of the quality and the power bulge which is too big and nor smooth enough (like the vorsteiner)
Next to that fitment isn't good on these hoods, you need to invest a bit more to make it fit right
Guys from VIS did gave me a very good shipping quote and I like the more aggresive look.

Revozsport has got one which has got a nice smooth bulge and some nice, too my taste, looking vents but fitment is a big issue for me and shipping quote was too high.

I just can't find a decent hood with good fitment and a little more aggresion as the vorsteiner.

Ideal would be a vorsteiner M6 hood but for a M5 e60.

Just wondering if nobody could make something simular, or a professional business.
Doesn't have to be all carbon fiber but I just want something clean and a bit more aggresive for a reasonable price.

pictures attached to sum up all the available M5 e60 hoods.

Pictures are from my database,M5board members and advertisers which send them too me. Very good service and quick information from all of them !!!

This one looks good and is more aggressive than the vorsteiner and has a nice bulge. Not too big either.

I love the Vorsteiner, the VIS is a little too aggressive for me (and the vents are too large for the lines of the sedan), but to each his own. That's why there's so many cars and so many different aftermarket parts available. I'm sure there's a vendor somewhere who can give you a reasonable shipping price.

BTW, is that 1st M5 wrapped in CF?

Looks pretty real to me, but 3rd one looks like wrapped.

i just put an OEM style Seibon CF hood on my car, fitment is 90%, and the weave looks sick!! just checked it out this morning heres a pic before it was fitted hope it helps - gonna paint some parts of it and leave some exposed.

That is amazingly cheap! Looks very similar to the Vorsteiner

does anyone know how much the stock hood (and for that matter, trunk) weighs?? For all this talk about carbon fiber everywhere, I never seem to see anyone actually mention the weight savings.... which seems unreal to me.

I also like the more aggressive look, but could never bring myself to change hoods for cosmetic reasons and $3,000

Where did you get your hood from bro? I'm interested!
