What does BMW new car corrosion protection actually cover just the body or the entire car?

My car is around 14 months old and all 20 of my lugnuts are heavily rusted. My brake caliper clips and hardware are all rusted out pretty bad it looks awfull as if my car was 10+ year old.

I am planning to take the car in about a week from now and I didnt know if I should bust balls for them to replace all these parts if the BMW corrosion warranty covers such items.

Any thoughts?

Every body part that is painted, went through an anti-corrosion process.

Still, the parts you mentioned should not be rusting like that.

Do you park your car outside or in a garage?

salt

Does NYC use salt to clear snow/ice from their roads?

Even a week after a"salting", in our area there's a lot of salt dust that keeps being a potential corrosive agent. Since I wash every other week or so, I've avoided such issues.

Also, I think most corrosion warranties relate to "perforation" and not just cosmetic blemish.

Good luck.
