If you give me the tire rolling diameter in inches (or tire size, I can compute the rolling diameter) and 7th gear ratio, I can run a program and give you the answer. From memory, stock is 3.62, so you can multiply your rpms at that speed by 1.08 (3.91-3.62/3.62) +1) and you should be very close.
Regards,
Jerry

Well, since I have an E39, I can't go outside and look. But I will look it up and post here for you.

Edit:
According to TR, standard rear is 285/35-19, so rolling diamter is 26.9 inches. Assuming full lock up in SMG as it has no torque converter for slippage, 3000 rpm is 80 mph (79.9) with the 3.91. Since the BMW speedo is usually a little optimistic, you may see a slightly higher speed reading at the rpm.

Engine RPM Calculator

My bad, I put the wrong diff ratio down. That is in fact 3.62. The 3.91 would be 74 mph at 3000 rpm. 80 mph would be about 3250 rpm.
Regards,
Jerry
