Battery Going Bad?

This morning I got in my car and the time needed to be reset. Thought it might be some random issue, so I reset it and went on my way. Then this afternoon, I get in my car and the navigation has somehow switched from map facing direction of travel to map facing north. I also noticed that my welcome lights did not work, but the pathway lighting was on. Just read through the manual to see if I could diagose the issue, and I even tried using my other key to see if that made any difference. Same thing, no welcome lights, but pathway lighting there. So I just now get in my car, and it prompts me to reset time and date again???

None of the seat settings were reset, nor were any of the a/c, etc. I did check via iDrive to see if the welcome lighting option had been unchecked, but it is still checked and no lights. I only have 18K on my 2008. It's a daily driver and I probably do on average 30 to 40 miles a day in it.

Any ideas? I'm not getting a low battery indicator either...Thanks in advance!

Battery

My car for a few months had the clock and date reset randomly. After 3 times in the shop and no great answers, they finally replaced the battery. Car has been fine now. They didnt replace battery originally b/c they said it didnt fail the test, but getting a "battery discharge" error on the dash and having the clock reset all the time seemed like a battery issue, dont you think?

Got the car back today. They hooked up to the diagnostic machine, which indicated a bad battery. Replaced under warranty, problem solved. Thanks Roadshow BMW Memphis!
