I just purchased Eibach springs for my next Individual M5 that hasn't started production yet.

The Eibach springs lower the car 1.2" in the front and 0.6" in the rear.

The difference in specs between the H&R and Eibach springs are fairly marginal. H&R are 1.3"F and 0.75"R and Eibach are 1.2"F and 0.6"R. However, from the photos I've seen on this site, the H&R definitely seem a bit more aggressive, but definitely not an excessively "slammed" look.

I can only speak about my experience with H&R springs; the ride quality is stiffer, but still comfortable. I use my car as a daily driver and even with my wife and 2 year old, I have never had any complaints regarding ride quality.

Well said. They are direct competitors so there are not night and day differences but the H&R is slightly more performance oriented than the Eibachs.

With eibach you run less of a risk with rubbing since they are .1 higher in the front and .15 higher in the rear than the H&R, and eibach is more comfort as H&R is more sporty.

I don't have too much experience with springs and I have not had them on a car yet, but ordered eibach pro-kit springs for my '10MY M5.

So you have had them fitted, excellent and glad you like them. Is there much difference to standard apart from the drop?

Can you measure the ground clearance from the front spoiler to flat ground, do it from the front centre corner of the spoiler eg just to the side of the main bumper air intake.

Did you fit the spacers as well?

Did you get the geometry checked/rest after.

Regards

Jay (James)

P.S any photos??
