Today at the 1/4 track I experienced some wheel hop on the 1-2 shift. I let off the throttle each time just to make sure nothing would happen to the car. Has anyone experienced this before? Its not happening when I launch but only on the 1-2 shift.....

I have experienced wheel hop with my EDC set to level III while pushing through an off-ramp circular turn. Not something I enjoyed so I never use III, only settings I or II. Which setting were you using?

Wheel hop (wheel tramp) is normally a function of the dampers and grip and relitive wheel slip/speed, Basicly its a frequency thing., your sticky tyres and worn dampers might be causing the problem or you aren't getting enough spin on the gear change although the dampers should cope with this.
Was it just one side tramping?
Have you looked to see if the damper has burst eg oil around its body??
