Wow, almost too good to be true. Jerry offers some sound advice above. Having done this a few times (I hate selling cars privately) I suggest that you keep you car and trade value off the table until you negotiate the cost of the M3 separately. Since these cars are not flying out of car lots right now, I'd get the invoice price from Edmunds for the car spec you are looking at and negotiate up from there. Be sure to see if there is current BMW "trunk money" or other incentives from BMW and factor those into your negotiation. When you have arrived at a price for the M3 that you are satisfied with, start talking about your trade. The cynical part of me believes that your trade value will significantly decrease by that point...but you still will likely get a better deal in the end.
