I really needed to see how fast my M5 can go, so I decided to make a little movie today. The car could still go a bit faster, but I had to break for traffic. During the run I realized the rev counter was not visible, so I adjusted the camera for you guys

Tuned by Manhart-Racing (who builds the Hartge conversions)
Primary cat delete.
Modified throttle bodies.
Underdrive pulley.
RPI scoops with block off plates.
Remap.
3.91 diff.
Estimated 560-570 bhp at crank.
Hartge spoilers.
Hartge springs.
21 inch Cargraphic split rims.
Exterior carbon bits.
Upgraded audio/video system.

Primary cat delete, can you explain this? Did you gut the cats or replace it with a straight pipe? Also how are your throttle bodies modified?

They've been replaced with pipes. These are the ones that cause power loss. You only need them during warm up anyway. I am not sure how the throttlebodies were modified, as Manhart was very secretive about it. He seems to have developed it for a German tuning company. It produces around 5-6 bhp.

Nice, where tire size are you running, just wondering if the diff made up for the difference and if you re-calibrated the speedometer.

wow now that is fast! in all of 30 months I have not had my e60 past 200km/hour and after reading about some m5 accidents recently I don't think I will ever try!
