Car and Driver test results for Panamera Turbo

Car and Driver Testing results for Panamera Turbo (MSRP $147,945 as tested)

0-60 3.3 sec
1/4 mi 11.7 @ 119mph
Braking 70-0 in 159ft
Skidpad 0.92g

They felt launch control (part of $2280 Sport Chrono pkg) had something to do with 0-60 times. Just for reference, the 0-60 and 1/4 mi times for the Panamera are 0.2 second and 0.1 second quicker, respectively, than the last 911 Turbo they tested. They loved the interior, but there were no defenders for the exterior styling.

The amazing 0-60 and 1/4 time comes down to its AWD and TQ, from a roll I think the M5 may have a chance (judging by the 1/4 trap speed)

Wow...the new M is going to have some stiff competition with those numbers!! I hope the new M has a great launch control that will still be covered under warranty

0-60 3.3, wow that is a record for a 4300lb car!

I am definitely not a 0-60 racer but it'd be nice if M finally made a car that did sub 4sec 0-60...

I would say being rear wheel drive it takes some good drivers to get sub 4.0. I guess there are plenty of Rear wheel drive cars getting sub 4.0 though...zr1 for example.

The Panamera Turbo did 0-60 in 3.3. That's insanity. That's faster than the new 911 Turbo, GT2, etc... I was expecting something right around 4.0 sec. It should be interesting to see what BMW M can come up with.

With the launch capabilities of the X5M and X6M, I think when a good tune comes out they might be able to cut sub 4 second 0-60 times.
