Why wasn't Bill Auberlin driving the M5? Or maybe other great drivers I've competed with like Andy Pilgrim or Randy Pobst.
Sorry but this challenge was a lame. All in an effort to pump up the caddy.
I've only stated this 100 times. WOW what a fair comparison , a 6.2L SC'ed motor vs. a 5.0L NA motor. Give me a break!
Lets make it fair, put the ESS blower in the M5 or put the Dinan stroker against that bully the caddy!
The result would be a dead caddy.

Honestly I think this was a great marketing campaign for GM.. a huge success! Every forum on the NET is talking about it ... who cars who won... the fact is that the CTS-V can compete and this challenge put it on the map. Any publicity is good publicity... if you know what I mean.

This was a test of drivers, not a test of cars. As said earlier, one driver should have driven all the cars. I am sure a pro driver in a Dodge Neon can beat me in an M5 most days.

Someone should have entered in a m5 stroker. How did they verify the cars were stock?

So the consumer CTS-V was 3:14. That says it all.
