With all the Mods in my sig (including the Passport ~2000.00 installed) the total was just over $47,000.00. I love the car, because it is a BMW (fits in well in my area) that has super car power. No one is the wiser.

Thanks for the info Scott. Can you or someone tell us what the approx cost is for the installation of just the stroker?

We would do just a Stroker Motor Install for $36190.00(Motor+Labor)

and we would not charge any exrtra labor to do the other mods that need to go with the motor like Throttle Body kit, Cold Air Intake and Exhaust system. You need those other mods to get the peak Hp numbers.

If anyone comes down to Atlanta for our Open House on Nov. 7th and wants to get a motor ordered we would give 15% off of the motor and any other parts that you might want. We would also give 10% off on Labor for the install.

We have done 3 of the Stroker Motor setups including XrayM5

Seems like a great deal.

To clarify, is the $36,190 price above with or without the 15% disc on the motor and the 10% disc on the labor? Or are you only offering those discounts on your Open House day, Nov 7th?

That's quite a deal! Hope the weather holds out for the open house. It should be a great event like last year.

That is without the 15% off on parts and 10% on labor. Those dicounts will only be available at or during our Open House weekend. You can email me or call me if you can't make it to the show but still want to order the Engine and we can work something out. WE HAVE to do the install becuase we are a Platnum Dinan dealer and are one of the few shops that are qualified to do the install and be able to provide Dinan warranties.

Thanks. I'm mainly asking for the benefit of other members here. I wish I had the excess funds to get this especially at such a great price that you're offering but I'm not able to currently. Also, I'm out here in NorCal; actually only about 20 minutes from Dinan headquarters.

Has a comparison ever been done with the stroker changing only the stock throttle bodies to the Dinan ones? I'd be curious to see how much difference the change really makes.

The engine needs to breath so its silly not to do the Throttle Bodies on the stroker V10 but if you chose not to change them there is a 20hp reduction in the output of the motor.

+1. There have been some issues with TB's in the past, and they have since been perfected. I highly advocate anyone thinking about doing this having it done at a Dinan authorized installer, preferably one that has installed the engine in the past. I take great comfort in knowing that should any issues arise, I have a warranty and my installers will (and always have) take care of me.
