Don't know if they've ever done an M5 before(Vip that is).
I called EuroRev and they want 200 for the install.
What extra work is required in the back deck?
Status did my H&R installed out the door (part+labor) for $400 couple years ago, and they did at least 4-5 members here I refered. So far nothing but good experience for me. Sorry to hear your trouble with them, $200-300 labor is a steal consider you didn't buy part from them.

They originally told me $100 to install them and $80 for the alignment. Now they want upwards of $300 for everything.
Not that I mind, but when a company changes their numbers overnight on me, I don't do business with them. It just goes to show that they don't know wtf their telling their customers and they're definitely not working on my 100k car.
And as far as Status Auto Design that was down on PCH, I've heard several complaints about them, so I was kinda of skeptical once I found out they were the same company.
Are you really complaining, or not satisfied with $300 for installing springs AND alignment? You really need to get more in touch with your car. $300 for installation of springs and alignment is probably 100% or more discount compared to what it usually costs.

I'd pay $500 if I had to. The point is that VIP told me one thing and then changed it on me when I called to schedule the appt.
I posted here looking for other shops in the area that can do the install. I'd pay $250 for VIP to do it but won't for the mere fact that they can't get their pricing and customer service together. And why the name change? Trying to hide something?
I've schedule EuroRev to do the install for me. I've had them do my Carbon Fiber trim install in the past and trust their work. I had actually completely forgotten about them.
VIP > Eurorev
I had my M5 done at VIP, just H&R springs w/ no problems.
Had my old M3 done at Eurorev, had to bring it to VIP to fix a loose bolt and adjust the camber plates since Eurorev left me with a ton of neg camber. Never going to Eurorev again.
I think you are jumping the gun on this whole customer service issue you seem to have. Maybe it was a mistake, did you ask about the 100+80 and say they quoted you that? Who did you talk to? Is this the first car you've modded? Modding is a PITA if you didnt already know.
I also don't work there, just support that shop since they know what theyre doing and hate when people bash shops based on a stupid assumption. Yes, they gave you 2 quotes, but maybe you should not be so hard headed and talk to them about it. BTW, they changed their name because they merged w/ another shop when they moved. The other shops name is VIP Autosalon which specializes in Lexus parts, hence the name VIP Status.
I had VIP do the install yesterday. I pick up the car and it looks great. Get in and drive down the street only to find that my alignment is fk'd. The car goes straight and but they didnt center the steering wheel. I have to hold the steering slightly to the left for it to go straight. Even though its not their fault since they outsource the alignment, they should have checked everything before giving it back to me.
So off to their shop again on monday so they can send it to the alignment shop once more. Hopefully it will be ok after that.

The steering wheel should be in the straight-ahead position before adjusting the alignment. Don't let them try to pull your steering wheel to correct the problem. There are also reference marks on the steering gear and housing which line up in the straight-ahead position.
