Exclamation How do you warm up the beast?

The myth of warming up a car is to leave it running for 10 mins before driving off and at full throttle if wanted to. Now in the beast you have a warning red/yellow zone so no worries there. But if you apply the old rule, you surely woudlnt rev it rather keep it idling which makes me guilty if i take the car out cold and see the revs @2000-3000 rpms even though i should/am safe.

I was wondering how do you warm up the V10.

The owner's manual says ...

Do not allow the engine to warm up by leaving it
running while the vehicle remains stationary.
Instead, begin to drive immediately at a moderate
engine speed.

So I just drive off right away and keep the RPMs away from the yellow zone for about 10 minutes.

I heard you shouldn't have to warm the car while idle. Less than 1min, should start to roll out but keep rmp moderate until temp close to 210F

Start up and drive. Maybe 20 secs while Idrive loads up.

I keep the RPMs low, but not too low, and wait for the oil temp to rise and the clutch to warm up before any high RPM driving is done.

The manual actually says not to warm up the car by letting it idle in the garage, but to drive as soon as possible after start up. I also keep it under 3500 rpm until the temp guage reads around 180-200.

There are two aids built in. First the oil temp gauge, you need about 90 deg C and second the moving "red-line" indicator on the tacho when it moves from 6000 to 8250 the engine is warm.
Personally I start up and drive off gently, it is about 2 miles from my home through a small town to the highway. By the time I am there both the above indicators are saying it is OK to go.

I let it warm up during the time it takes to fasten my seatbelt and pick which sat radio station I'm in the mood for...of course, I try to keep the rpms low for a few miles.
