SW and George, I am so jealous right now. I can't wait to get my car back. I hope to drive her alot to get through the breakin as soon as possible. Congrats on getting your cars back.
And George, I couldn't agree more. Why buy some other car when you already have the best available (and now can compete with the "supercars" around)
Thanks. Your going to really enjoy it. The new motor revs like a sport bike

I asked the exact same thing when the car was dropped off. was afraid to move it until i knew if it would break or disable something.
this was our second stroker kit installation, and sadly I did miss the estimated thursday delivery mark by 2 days but fortunately SW was patient. better to side with caution on a project like this than rush to meet the deadline. looking forward to the next one.
Floyd, good to see you on here. Guys, Floyd is the Tech at BMW of Austin that did the install on the my motor. My car came back to me with not one mark on it. Floyd took his time and did the install perfectly. Thanks again for the flawless work you performed. Now you just have to get ready for Cody's...

Floyd..... having experienced the installation and all. What is your opinion on how many hours it would take to make the installation? Antony, the BMW tech manager who supervised the job on my car says if he was to do it again, it would take 3 days.

with everything still fresh from having just completed an install I agree that some people could complete it in 3 days. I generally spend more time on major engine work checking over my work so it takes me longer but each tech has their own work style and pace. replacing the throttle bodies, adjusting all to less than 0.05mm and calibrating the system to 0% deviation took some time too.thanks, SW, for the comments. while he got it back with no marks it didn't stop him from having it washed and waxed within an hour of picking it. now just to finish the break in period
just waiting on remaining parts for the next engine, then his car gets the same operation
