Picked it up yesterday. Put the wheels and front spoiler back on and washed her. I have put about 100 miles on it so far. It sounds different than before, more throaty.. I have been varing the speed up to 5k. Can't wait until break in is done..

I asked the exact same thing when the car was dropped off. was afraid to move it until i knew if it would break or disable something.
this was our second stroker kit installation, and sadly I did miss the estimated thursday delivery mark by 2 days but fortunately SW was patient. better to side with caution on a project like this than rush to meet the deadline. looking forward to the next one.

Got her back today and am glad I got the midsection and mufflers. You can feel the increased volume of exhaust just blow through with a fierce rush, and at just 4K RPM!

Friends ask me why I don't just get a new car.......
I tell them there is nothing on the market comparable and that this is how the M5 should have been built all along.

SW and George, I am so jealous right now. I can't wait to get my car back. I hope to drive her alot to get through the breakin as soon as possible. Congrats on getting your cars back.

And George, I couldn't agree more. Why buy some other car when you already have the best available (and now can compete with the "supercars" around)

With the recent drop in price, looks like Dinan might have finally found the sweet spot for selling/profiting from stroker motor sales.
