When I started reading this thread I thought, "I wonder if this guy is who I think he is?" Then you mention the Supra and confirm it. I don't think I've ever met you in person but I know I've talked to you on the phone way back in the day. Glad to see you still have the Supra and that you've got it that powerful. I still remember the first time I drove the black GReddy car our shop owned that was 614 at the wheels! I need to catch up with you sometime when I'm in Austin.
That would be great. Yes, still love the Supras...

Guys, I have been in the Cayman Islands since last week and will be home on thursday. I have severe stroker withdrawls.. I drove the Lambo around as much as I could before it left, so I haven't been driving the M5 at all..I can't wait to get back behind the wheel again and will report back after I drive it more..

Just a quick video of my stroker engine on the way to being installed.

So, I took my M6 to the Dinan dealer today for the final check and oil change. It is about 125 miles and ~ a 2 hour one way trip.
On the way down some old hag in a crossfire tried playing with me. She quickly had her attitude "adjusted", and was chicken to drive over 115 mph (still was breaking it in).
Got to the dealer and talked with my SA, Tim. I got a kick out of the stares the M6 gets. This service drop off area is a common space inside with the waiting area. Lots of lookers. But, LOTS of head turning when Tim started the engine. I don't get to hear it from outside of the car, because I am the only one driving her. Very distinctive sound.
This dealer does it correctly. Nice waiting area at the service department. Snacks, drinks, computers etc. They hand wash and dry the car for you. Nice to see some one still gives a rat's ***.
Got the car back and was told "open it up". The traffic on the way home was heavy, so not a lot of "opening up" happened, but some did.
The amount of torque that this engine produces from 6,000 RPM to redline is, shall we say, quite impressive. You can achieve wheel spin in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd without even trying. You can also get the back end loose just as easily. I even broke loose the rear at 55 to 60 mph passing and not full throttle. That, was fun. I will have more once I get a chance to drive the car longer.
No Dyno done today, my scheduling mistake. Will do it at a later date.
The dealer had a 5 series there with M badging. Something looked weird, so I glance at the shifter and the steering wheel, not an M. look at the rear, one sided exhaust. Threw up a bit in my mouth.
I am 100% convinced the only way to drive these cars is in S6, DSC off. It is such a pleasure to experience.
Lastly, saw a Pontiac Vibe GT. Thought WTF is that? A "sportier" Vibe. Uhhhhh, sure.
Scott
