Thanks guys, it's a shame to see my original motor go. 5900 miles, 4 oil changes, yes I am a freak. BMW of Austin is great. Their Techs are second to none. They take care of all 3 of our Bimmers.. I'm driving a '09 328i loaner, so when I get my car back it's really going to feel fast, even during break in.

The install is just the beginning of the anticipation--once completed you still have the break in period.

Hey, they offered it to me and plus didn't have to wake up anyone to take me to the Dealer at 7:00 am on Monday.

Gustav,

The new engine was shipped to my BMW dealer here in China. The engine change follows the same procedures that any qualified BMW dealer can do.
Just as if it were originally from BMW. The new engine utilizes all the electronics from your old engine, all you need to do is send the ECU back to DINAN to re program with the 5.7 liter software. This is what impressed me so far about DINAN. The stroker project was well planned with future reliability and maintenance as a priority. The car will be ready in a couple of days so we will find out soon enough!

George
