I heard Darren's car and it sounded sweet. Nice aggressive rumble but not too loud. I forgot if he had the mid section though.

But I definitely understand everyone's taste is different. Just didn't know if SW is using ASR because of the sound or perhaps it provides more power?

Yes, it is quite impressive the power of a stroker compared to a lightly tuned stock M5.

I was about to show the videos where Darren's stroker left a stock 997 Turbo manual but now thta video seems to be removed?

Here are a couple of pictures of the car and Passport set up. I shot a video, but was having trouble uploading it. Seemed to take FOREVER. I will post it if I can get it to upload.

That is great. Let us know the difference between stock and the Stage 3. That is something I am considering if there is a noticeable difference.

I just upgraded to Stage 2. If you enjoy taking your car to the track or driving the twisties, the upgrade is well worth it. The ride comfort and EDC function are preserved as well. Stage 3 adds monoballs and camber plates. I got Stage 2 and added camber plates.

Looks great, congrats!

Btw, my wife and I took a trip to Houston to visit some friends for dinner. I averaged 95-100mph on the way down and got 17.5-17.8 mpg on the way down and 80-85 on the way home today and got 18.8 mpg. Not to bad, what a great economy car..

SW, I also have noticed 15 to 17 mpg, but have attributed it to the break in. Although, I have also been driving the car on the highway 65 to 100 mph. I don't think I got better that 10 to 12 mpg before. Once the car is broken in it will probably drop below 10.
