Just got back from picking the car up. For me it is 125 miles one way to the dealer, so I already have one tenth of the break in over. The car definitely pulls a lot harder from 3000 to 5000 RPM. I shifted mostly around 4500 RPM even though I can go to 5000 to 5500. Most of the drive is highway, so I was on and off the throttle and shifting frequently to vary the RPM's and throttle input. Driving like that is some what annoying. The exhaust is deeper in tone and does have a grumble if you goose the throttle from 3000 to 4500 RPM. Once the break in is over I'm sure it will sound great. Not too loud but definitely "meaner" than stock. I can't really tell how different it is down low since I can't jump on the throttle, because 5000 RPM comes so freakin' fast.
One last thing I want to thank my SA and the master mechanic who worked on the car. They are brothers and are both very meticulous and "anal", qualities I treasure when it comes to cars. They are Tim and Josh Gabbard at The BMW Store in Cincinnati. I would highly recommend both of them! I will try to get some pictures and maybe a video.

I wonder how a stroke M6 holds up against exotics such as LP560/ LP640??? I personally thinks the acceleration performance should on par with the latest exotics.

Gasterus, that is my thinking as well, but there is not a lot of evidence thus far. Where I live I, unfortunately, don't have a bunch of exotics around. A couple older Ferraris, some Z06's, but I heard of some one recently getting a Lambo. I don't know which model, though. The other owners who live in larger metro areas will have to "obtain" data.

Well speaking from my own experience driving a stroker a couple of days ago. It sounded to tame but that's just me.
If I do buy this car I will do the same and the Dinan exhaust will go on sale.

It is more tame than other exhausts, but every one has different tastes and needs. I just don't want to draw too much attention. I will live vicariously through you, Ranger.
