If you have to ask......

Georgefu and streetking, what motor oil did you guys pour into your stroker for initial break-in??? I believe our car is factory filled with a special motor oil for initial break-in. Care to share some thoughts?

I am in Northwest Ohio, Lima (no not Peru). I have never tracked the car, but that idea is definitely gaining momentum.

after replacement the engines are filled with factory 10W60 TWS. the engine is filled with the same from the factory though at that time it has a very large dose of green dye for leakchecking. if you have the chance to see the oil from a new S85 (long story but i've replaced a new engine) the engine oil looks like antfreeze because of the dye

I still have the fastest stroked S85!

I feel bad for you guys that stroked the pig M5! The M6 is SO much lighter. LOL

Congrats gentlemen...

I definitely do not regret the transformation. I think this car will go into the personal archives.

Well congratulations SBM6 - glad to see you're really happy with the your White Jewel! We took it through the paces last Saturday after the V1 mirror install and damn - it's sweet!

Ha ha thanks, I love my "pig" M5, much better looking than the M6..

On that note, I do like the lines of the M6 convertable though. I was trying to talk my wife into a M6 convertable and giving her M5 to our daughter. Eventhough she drives a chipped 335ci, the M5 might be too much for her right now.

I have 505 miles on the motor as of today, the oil will be changed tomorrow and I am going to start running it harder.
