Thanks for all the comments guys, I am slowly breaking it in. I spoke with Steve Dinan on Monday and he told me to start running it in a little harder for the next 200 miles.. I can't tell you how hard it is to keep it under 5k.. I was following my Wife home the other day in her M5 and she left me at the light because she knew I couldn't hit it.

Ouch! that must have hurt.....
How many miles have you done so far and what are the specifics of "running it in a little harder" as prescribed by Steve?

He wanted me to increase the rpm that I run it up to by 1000 rpm every hundred miles after the first 500 miles. He also wanted me to accelerated harder to 5000 to build cylinder pressure. I'm used to breaking in my race motors on the dyno in 30 min., I just want make sure I abide by the rules..

That's so cool, wonder if DINAN offers a break in service?

OK, let me see if I got this right....

500-600 miles, shift at 3k
600-700 miles, shift at 4k
700-800 miles, shift at 5K
800-1200 miles, shift at 5k accelerating harder?
